I tried to get a solid answer from the dealer but I am getting the run around. I heard 6/100k but then I heard 6/unlimmited. Any ideas??

I also heard that to enforce the warranty you need yearly corrision inspections.

I don't know...

Not quite your answer, but my 2001 warranty for corrosion says 6 yr/unlimited mileage. It also requires an opportunity for dealer inspection every 12 months. I didn't dig further to see if there was a definition for opportunity for inspections, so I can't be certain -- but in my mind that means service at the dealer. I don't know of anyone who specifically brings the truck in for annual corrosion inspections.

take it to a dealer that has their own body shop, if you can, they will see $$signs and jump on board, and get them to do the spots in the rear door sills too!!
It is 6 year warranty from time of original purchase. I have a 97 that was originally purchased in june 97 , so my warranty is good till june this year, and i will take it back for a touch up if required.
The neat thing is, is that even though i am the second owner and bought it privately, I am still covered.

6/unlimited. Tell them to look in the warranty policy and procedures manual on-line.
They can deny the claim if the rust inspections have not been done but the attitude on this just depends on the dealer. If you live in an area with more than one dealer just take it to the next on if they say no
