I've been there before, plenty of funny bumper stickers in all the tourist traps.

I've been there too! And what about Blue Ball, PA? Yes, it's a real place!

I travel that state for work...

We also have a small town near Blue Ball and Intercourse called Bird In Hand all in the heart of Amish country.

do get me started on the Amish around here Mike. i really fancy them. :-)

ps: the amish are not as pure as you all think either! when they turn 18 many of the families let them go and they are gone for several weeks. typically drinking heavily and doing 'unpure' things. more than 50% come back to stay within the amish community. go figure.
a month ago some kids go busted for racing their buggies on the roads. bad asses!!

GP-
You must have more Amish fodder for our middle of the week duldrums! It's always entertaining.

well i am just trying to report fair and balanced news from Central PA.
i mean i have been around the Amish quite a bit living around here. my parents have had them over to dinner quite a bit and we have been to their homes as well.
they have a class system that is fairly elaborate too. i.e. single suspender, brown pants, purple top buggies, etc. yep....they have ghettos in Amish land too. :-)
oh and they make great pie!! :-) mmmmmm. pie.

What goes: clip-clop, clip-clop, BANG, clip-clop, clip-clop . . . .

Amish drive-by shooting.

Is someone going to break out the PhotoShop on a carriage and show us some Amish bling bling?
