Where is the windshield wiper motor located on a DI? From some posts I saw, I think I need to clean off some of the contacts. My wipers hesitate / don't work until the car warms up or I manipulate the wiper switch several times. | ||

It is part of an assembly attached to a panel on the engine side of the firewall. If you pull the wiper arms and pry that plastic cowl off, you will see the panel with approx a dozen screws holding it in place. I did not see anything cleanable when I replaced mine, but YMMV of course. -jeff |
