Can anyone recommend a OBDII software package? I looking to diagnose some issues with my discovery.

The car has some issues when driving along at highway speeds. I can drive along for 20 miles but when I take my foot of the gas and them put it back down it starts to sputter. I need to pull the car to the side of the road. I have to sit in the side of the road for about 10 seconds, the idle then jumps around a little and returns to normal. I can then drive for a while and it works fine but it repeats.

Someone suggested vechile speed sensor. I changed that and it seemed to fix it for a few days(check engine light went out) but it later went back on.

Can anyone recommend a OBDII sofware package that I can hook to my laptop and watch lots of the sensors. I checked out autotap but it seems only the "Enhanced Manufactures pararmeter" version monitors the "good" sensors and it seems that these parameters only work on certain brands of cars.

I am looking for something that can monitor speed, tach, throttle posistion and anothing else that might tell me what is going on with my truck

Has anyone used a OBDII software package with a laptop? What sensors does it monitor?

Thank you so much.. My main concern is what sensors are supported on the landrover with this pacakge? I am trying to figure out if this will help me figure out why my truck goes nuts every once in a while

That is the one I was thinking of... Do all the sensors that pull up in the demo pull up on the disco?

I have the tricom from obd-2.com. It works great. It has the ability to read engine codes and to analyze the sensors you have mentioned. It has alot more features that I haven't used yet.
