I went to the Bearmach.com website and noticed that their stuff looks pretty good, but i am concerned at the quality and pricing of it. I liked the looks of the diamond plated running boards for a DI and was wondering if they were overpriced, and how well they were made. Also if anyone knows a cheap place to get the chevron side steps like the dealer sells for a reasonable price. Any suggestions are helpful.

Why running boards? Need a boost to get in the 'ole cabaroo? Spend the money on rocksliders or maybe even a couple of the nifty rear hydraulic steps for each side. Cool noise included....sound like the Deloreon in Back to the Future.

I dont do an ass load of four wheeling where i am. I just wanting something to enhance the looks of my car. Do you know who's got any cheap sliders? I am pressed for cash at the moment and i figured the running boards versus the sliders: the sliders are going to be on a disco that has had the shit beat out of it....and i dont want some that are tore to hell.

The ARB Side Protection steps are nice...and they don't eat as much clearance as traditional steps...and they take a beating!

on an interesting note, the sidesteps that came stock with my D1's lasted pretty long even when I bottomed out on a deep mud hole. I had to jump on it to get it back in place and it had a gash in it but it saved me from a gash in my door!
I wish they made sidesteps that are as strong as sliders... like... slidesteps? =)

RJ Clayton,
I can't find anyone who sells the ARB side protection steps. You got any photos or websites?

Usoff, look into the Rovertym sliders w/ the 'wing' (or whatever he calls it).
