I just received my snorkel the other day, and I'm about to throw it on. However, I have a 2" Rovertym body lift sitting in my garage that I have yet to install, and I don't know when I'll be able to getting around to do that. Will the body lift throw the geometry of the snorkel/air intake system off enough that I will have to remount the snorkel itself? (I realize that with a body lift, the body itself is lifted and not the chassis or engine.) Or is there enough play in the system so that it pretty much will somewhat self adjust to the upcoming changes? I really want to know this before butchering my truck. THANKS! |

If it's a Safari Brand snorkel then you should be fine (Don't know much aboutthe Airflow or Mantec units)...the hose is very flexible. |

The body lift will not effect the snorkle at all since the air filter housing is mounted on the fender. What would be effected is the intake airflow tube from the air filter to the engine plenum. Alan Stuart |
