...when the first bombs are dropped? It is 2:20 minutes from the end of the ultimatum and I would not be surprised if the first bombers are launched right at 5:15 Pacific Time. Just think, in a little while we won't be having to hear any more about this idiot Saddam. The first Gulf War was insignificant in historic terms compared to what will be the outcome of this one. |

My bet is that the first US strikes will occur around 1200 noon EST tomorrow. If I calculated correctly, that will be about nightfall in Iraq. We have an enormous advantage with our night vision capabilities and thermal imaging. It would be foolish not to use it. Of course Saddam knows that, and will be expecting the initial attack at night. One reason to hit them during the day, I guess. My 2 cents. |

Im going with 7:00 PM PST. The Prez. needs to announce from the oval office as it happens.I think thats the best T.V. time between east/west coast. Personally I hope we sweat them a little longer-kinda like the goldfish in the blender thing- |

Oh our troops have already started some stuff here & there ... I'm very proud of our country and grateful to our true allies. I'm praying for lives over there, and I hope the rest of the world's clowns that support terrorism stand up and take notice. I hope they know how uncomfortable we can make them when our national security and world order is at stake. |

Sorry I'm going to have to go with next week. The moon in now on the down side of its cycle yet still full. With the moon full (and clear skies) it lights up the sky and makes flying dangerous. But I do have to agree with Kim they're already there laser marking targets. My .02 |

Supposidly the war started 10:30 eastern standard time. This is kind of wierd, I remember when hearing about the Gulf War starting, it was during a thunderstorm. Right now there is another thunderstorm and it kinda sounds like the one back then..... What does it mean? I don't know... Max T. The War has begun |

Now saying that the "target of opportunity" was Saddam himself. No confirmation on success or failure yet. -L
