Hey all, So Im changing all the fluids in my truck, I've done brakes, swivel, power steering, front and rear diffs. Im left with center diff and transmission(auto) dealer had a trans kit for about $100 said I had to take off exhaust etc... well I got under it too and I cant see an easy drain and fill for the center diff either, anyone want to help me out on either one of these?? Xmission has an easy "4 qt" drain. If you want the filter posts say crossmember has to come out to clear the pan. I just do 4 qts twice a year. Looked at my tcase last weekend. Drain is easy- the lowest bolt. Refill and sight plug looks like a it take a naked 1/2" wratchett extension. Then you'd best have a bottle pump. |
