You are the President of the U.S.A. and you've just learned that there is an asteroid headed for France that will wipe out their entire country .

It is scheduled to hit about 2.30 a.m. in just two days time from now.

You have enough ships and military personnel nearby to evacuate them safely, but they are on stand-by in case of war with Iraq .

Your dilemma is:-
Do you set the VCR to record the asteroid hitting France?
-or-
Do you stay up to watch it live?

Hmmm, That would make the impact on Saturday night and I think 2:30am in France would make it 8:30 pm here on the east coast.

I would probably go to Hooters and catch it on the Big Screen.

Record it.
If there is ever a chance to go to Hooters, you gotta take it.
It might be cool to tatch in slo-mo, too. You wouldn't get that effect if it were live.

You would evacuate the god damn country because it is the humane thing to do! They may not share your view on this war that is going on, which I think is unjust, but that is no reason to watch their counrty get oblitorated.

I'd like to be in the boat and let them start swimming towards it and right when they get there shoot them. But, since I'm lazy I'd grab a beer and watch them die on the big screen.

However, I will laugh the hardest if one of these groups of protesters protesting against the war get their butts blown away by a terrorist. Hey, lets all gather in a big group and get on TV so that someone else can make a point out of us. Dumb asses :-)

Yeah, wonder how all those happy protesters that traveled over to Iraq to play Human Shield are fairing right now?

Maybe they are rethinking their decision? No? Maybe?

I was thinking about that the other day wheile watching the protest in DC.
It would be so ironic if a terrorist blew up their little demonstration. Isn't there something called "Poetic Justice?"
Do you think they would change their views?

I agree with Paul, I’d tell them……… about an hour before it hit. Bush, “Hey Chirac, just wanted to let you know there’s no hard feelings about that Iraq thing. Oh, by the way……”.
