Thanks Ron, I appreciate the compliment. It's nice to know you've been thinking of me.

I've been busy fixing my Range Rover after a long winter of neglect. Now that Spring has finally taken hold you'll have to do without my extended visits as I must complete my Series restoration project.

Jake, good luck with the new dog. You should know that I always have something to say. Here's something to chew on regarding support for veterans.

http://veterans.house.gov/democratic/press/108th/3-13-03budget.htm

It would appear as though we've come up with a wonderful way to express our thanks to those who chose to defend us. I'm sure, as a veteran, you are all too familiar with the across the board cut backs facing the Veterans Administration. It kind of puts an interesting spin on the notion of supporting our troops! Hopefully, you are fortunate enough that you won't ever need all the benefits that were promised to you when you enlisted.

Maybe that earthquake that was felt in France wasn't the sound of GIs turning in their graves over Chirac's lack of support. Maybe they were responding to our own governments dwindling support for the GIs that made it back from the wars they fought for our freedom?

Cheers,
Paul

Hey Paul,

I could be wrong, but I think they were addressing a different Paul. Like Greg's, there are too many Pauls here.

Paul G.,

I get the feeling that the Paul in question is from "mis guided people" thread. If there is one thing I have learned from loitering on Dweb it is that you have all your facts, figures, and stats ready.

This Paul was not in your league.

Yeah, the "mis guided people" paul really stepped in my buzz last night. All innocent Paul's, I salute you.
