It was pretty good. I will probably go there often since it's so close. There was a 9 mile trail that had a good number of mud holes and some technical spots but nothing too tough- Even Jason didn't get stuck. There was also a stream crossing next to a bridge. It was kind of fun because you could do laps. We only saw cycles and 4-wheelers on the trails. They all looked at us like we were nuts for being back there in trucks but the trails were pretty wide. The mud holes weren't sticky. The mud was kind of like chocolate milk. My truck was covered so bad that you couldn't tell it's color. Over all, I had a good day out. However, I think you would have been disappointed if you drove all the way up here solely for off roading. |

I will Jason. A few of us are taling about putting a date on the calendar for GWNF soon. I'll let you know about it. BTW, a few of us are talking about starting a local Rover club? Are you interested? How many rover buddies do you have over there? Have you had any luck fining local trails? |

Thanks Neal. I've got one guy Trevor, has a D90. Has his own business designing and manufacturing Mtn Bike parts. I'm always on the lookout for other Rover folks around here. I keep seeing a couple series trucks around but haven't been able to track them down. I'd definately be up for establishing a local club. In fact, I wouldn't mind being involved in the process. Let's make it happen. I'll email you. There's a nice little "test area" trail along the Monocacy River less than a mile from my house. Lot's of mud and a few small hill climbs. Just fun for screwing around after work. Jason |
