will a 93 ranger rover lwb hold? i posted in the rover tech disccussions, but no ones answered yet and i would like to do the oil change this morning...thanks |

My 4.0 DII takes about 5.something including the filter pre-fill. I just buy a six-quart case, and keep the extra handy. |

3.5 litre engine is 5.7 litres of oil 3.9 litre engine is 6.7 litres of oil plus about 1/2 litre to prefill the filter |

According to the manual, for a 93 it's 6.66 litres = 14.2 pints = as Tom said, 7.1 quarts. However, the manual lists this as "Engine sump and filter from dry" so you may not need that extra. This is of course assuming a gas engine for the US. pwc |

i did the change..today..i bought 7 quarts and filled it up until it was full. i found the manual so i have the specs. now..thanks all |
