My 4.0 DII takes about 5.something including the filter pre-fill. I just buy a six-quart case, and keep the extra handy.

3.5 litre engine is 5.7 litres of oil

3.9 litre engine is 6.7 litres of oil

plus about 1/2 litre to prefill the filter

According to the manual, for a 93 it's 6.66 litres = 14.2 pints = as Tom said, 7.1 quarts.
However, the manual lists this as "Engine sump and filter from dry" so you may not need that extra.
This is of course assuming a gas engine for the US.
