I've gathered that the fog lamps on my new-to-me '98 D1 are sealed beams. Can anybody recommend a source of replacement bulbs? All I've seen on the web are complete assemblies with mount and all. Thanks, Dave |

Assuming that these are the same kind that are on a '96 and they are the ones that mount on the spoiler, they are not sealed beams. Though I couldn't figure how to get into them until one rattled off the truck in several pieces. As I recall, the bulbs are common automotive bulbs that can be replaced from most parts stores. |

I agree. The beams are not sealed. I was able to pry apart the lamps to clean them out after they filled with water. Thanks, Mike B. |
