A/C Problems

Fans work, engine revs when you activate system. I did notice a few weeks ago that when I shut the truck off the blower wouldn't turn off when I turned the key off, I had to put it on 0 then it was off. Any ideas on where to look for a possible short or any other problem areas? Could the switch be doing this?   M.
