Replaced the ignition coil today on my Disco. She starts up like a beast but now my Door Locks are haywire. Sometimes the lights blink when you lock them and other times they do not. ideas>>??

Did you disconnect the battery when working on the coil? By chance did you use the CentralDoorLockSys with the windows down and then reach in for the hood or door lock release while the battery was disconnected?

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 min to reset everything. Be ready with your door lock fob as you reattach the gnd at the battery. After power is back up lock/ unlock three or four times.

If that doesn't work check the tech archives for resetting door lock / alarm systems with the key in the door lock. There is a "turn right __times, turn left __ times" or some other incantation involved.
