Hi to everyone out there, I'm pretty new to the world of Land Rovers and was hoping to seek some advice on purchasing a second hand 97 Discovery. I've found one which looks in pretty good conditon and has done just over 110,000kms which I guess is about 68,000 miles. The engine is a petrol 3.9 litre with an auto transmission behind it. All in all everything looks ok but I was wondering if there was anything in particular I should be looking for. Any known problems or issues with this model? Any advice is greatly appreciated!! Wasn't someone else looking at that same vehicle on here a couple months ago? My suggestion is take it to a shop and pay them about an hour labor to inspect/look the entire thing over. They can tell you of anything problems or anything it may need. |
