Looked throughout the threads but couldn't find it... This weekend, my remote (2 week old batteries) stopped activating the locks and alarm. Key fob still lights when depressed. Central locks still work using key in driver's door. Anyone have the method at hand for reprogramming the remote - something about turning the key in the door or ignition while pressing the button? Thanks in advance for the help! |

Erik, What year? The Rovers before 1996 have a one button remote and the instructions for reprogramming are in the FAQ's. For 1996 and newer, you need to go to the dealer and have the service department use the testbook interface for the reprogram. Bill M. |
