Well, I just bought a 95' Disco, it has the factory "Land Rover" cd changer, but the problem is that the magazine (cartridge) is missing. Who makes the cd changers for the land rovers? Is it kenwood, pioneer, sony? Or will I have to buy one from land rover? Thank you |

Standard 6 disc Pioneer, at least on my '93 RRC and '94 Discovery. |

Pioneer makes it. Go to Roverconnection.com. They sell it there.

I should of mentioned it in my previous post, but I got mine from a local audio shop for about $25 a pop. I also had a couple that came with my home stereo CD player. |

I noticed my '96 doesn't have the CDCHANGER, but it does have all the wiring under the seat. If I buy a Pioneer 6 DISC changer from a stereo shop will it just plug right in? I can't tell with my stereo if it has CD changer controls, its not obvious, do all the factory decks have changer control?

daredvl, I'm pretty sure the factory wiring harnass only is compatiable with a factory changer and yes the factory radio and steeringwheels controls act as the controller for the factory changer |
