Does anyone have a list of trouble codes and explanations for a 1996 Discovery? There are two I am really interested in. They are P0300 and P1316. Thanks in advance for your response(s)

OUCH.. Ron you are just full of good news. FYI. Got about 800 miles on the engine and it seems to be running smoother now then initial.. So far the epoxy is holding up on the C/S plate.

Thanks Ron.

Thanks gang...the interesting thing is there was no noticable mis-fire. I should have been able to feel it...not so. I will clear the codes and see if it resets. Thanks all

Just had the same codes. The first thing tried on my rig was plugs and wires. Wrong Answer! If you are pulling the plugs, get the compression gauge out and check. Service found a dead cylinder, then a bent valve...you know what happens then! Valve job.
