Hello, just a note to let everyone know that OEX is hosting a trip from Quebec City to Labrador (on and off the Trans-Labrador highway) on to Newfoundland, and ending in Nova Scotia. The trip is with your own vehicles and is open to anyone. While the route has been done before by some people, OEX has arranged tough off-roading days along the dirt road route. The wheeling will be very tough in some areas the trip is designed with alternative routes and by-passes for those how want to skip the day's wheeling, or a difficult route (go fishing, sleep, relax or..).

The trip will run June 28 - July 11 starting in Quebec City and ending in Nova Scotia. We are picking this time since it will be the soonest the ice will have cleared out of Melville Lake by Goose Bay, and the bug season will not have started yet! Throughout the trip there will be lectures from local experts (Topics: Inuit, Vikings, Ecology, etc). We will cross by ship to Newfoundland at the height of the Iceberg season. Whales should be common. In Newfoundland OEX has arranged it so the group will be able to stay in the Viking Longhouse at L'anse aux Meadows (first Viking settlement).

The trip will run with a min of 10 vehicles and a max of 16.

Also, the OEX Iceland trip (see Jan 03 LRO)still has four spots left for the April 26 - May 5th run.

Take a look at the trips by following the expedition links at www.overlandexperts.com

Cheers, Bruce
