Check out Pep Boys. They had some "cool blue" bulbs that fit my '99 DII just fine. Cheaper than the Sylvania's by about half.

yeah i had heard about the cool blues and they would be my first choice cause of the price but see Va is crazy they will pull you over on anything and everything including lights and slyvanias cost more but they are DOT approved and the cops around here are all about that but i thinking about saying screw it and go for the cheap ones aha they usually target ricers on the lights around here anyways

Why the blue bulb? Ive always liked the look of white bulbs myself. I just ordered a set of the Hella Xenon Premium H4 bulbs for my disco tonight from EE.

Land Rover headlight bulbs are no differant than any other H4 and available everywhere headlight bulbs are sold. Just buy an H4. Sylvania's are $20 each and you get a bright white with a very slight blue tint, I have them and they work great. The Hella bulbs are $12 each.

APC sells rainbows and blues and all the other great colors for like $15-20 a set but you get what you pay for...they don't last long either.

Piaa's are nice but I don't think they are any better than the Sylvanias yet they cost alot more. It's whatever you want.

Just don't touch the bulb (glass) when installing!

Yep, don't touch the glass, and avoid turning the engine on or off while the lights are on. And if your light have water inside, you better fix that too.

I have the 80/80W piaa super platinums, which is why I want them to la$t.

Before you buy the "Blues" you may want to look at the discussions on this site.
