Anyone else catch that? I agree about the turbocharged diesel in the Rover, but I highly doubt that it's a V6, though... Doesn't say which won, either.... -L | ||

I thought it said they both prefered the Humvee, even though they only cited the spacious interior as the real reason. | ||

Very cool. Drivers take corners on two wheels, sometimes leaving the ground altogether as they bounce over dunes and ruts at speeds that can exceed 100 miles per hour. I love that quote. I grew up on WWII movies, (being the son of a WWII vet, career Navy man), and I can still see those images from when I was a kid. Those movies, and Wild Kingdom were my first glimpses of Rover's in action. The Disco is great, but I still want a Series! Maybe the youth of today will feel the same way about the Humvee - except for my kids!!! |
