Alright...I'm going to order some QT Services diff guards, but I still have my stock steering components. Can I use the QT front with the stock steering stabilizer? Will it get in the way? Zach |

no, you wont be able to use it like that...you need to relocate that damper. |

The QT for D2 fit without muss. The D1 must really be different. I noticed that the instructions I got made mention of removing the damper to install, then re-installing (instructions for D1 obviously, since the D2 damper comes nowhere near the guard). I know nothing about D1's sorry to say. John F |

John, FWIW, on a D1, the stock damper bolts to the bottom of the 3rd Member(Where the QT diff guard bolts too...) |

QT for a D1 or RRC has the provision to remount the damper in the stock location - so yes, you can use both the QT guard and stock damper. Bill |

No mods necessary - QT guard has a bracket welded to it in essentially the stock location, so you can reuse stock damper and track (tie) rod. Frankly though - you'd be better of moving it, since it will get smashed in the stock location sooner or later. - IMO Bill |
