Does the 88 RRC gas tank fit in an 89 RRC?

I dunno, but I know the '90 RRC tank does not fit in an '83 RRC!!!

FWIW, I would guess that it would since I believe LR changed tanks/fuel pumps in 1990.

I'll give'm both a look, just thought I'd ask and see if anyone knew for sure.. Either way something has to be done and the tank has to come down!
Thanks,

Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes a larger tank for the RRC?, I presently have the 93 LWB with a 21 gallon tank, I'd love to find one in the 30 gallon range. For long trips it would definitely be worth it.

Thanks,
Ozzie

Ozzie,
Check in Australia, but after shipping it might be cheaper to have a tank built. Or just run cans.

Better yet convert to a Diesel and get a useful range of about 600+ miles out of that 21 gallon tank.

Ohh, Larry, How I wish I could just throw caution to the wind and buy that International 2.8L and stuff that baby in there!, WOOHOO!!, would I love that. My thought is in a couple of years Buy a 1995 RRC Classic with the 300tdi and auto ( I've checked there are lots of these!) bring it over ( many ways to do that, remember this is Miami, LOL) and park it next to mine and slowly swap everything! over, and it would be nicer than spending almost $9 grand in the conversion by the time I do all the work. especially since these 95's are NOW going for about $14K in the UK in a couple of years maybe $9K? plus $2K for get the paperwork and car over here! ahhh One Day, ... One Day....
