Gas tank swap Q

For long trips it would definitely be worth it. Or just run cans. Better yet convert to a Diesel and get a useful range of about 600+ miles out of that 21 gallon tank. My thought is in a couple of years Buy a 1995 RRC Classic with the 300tdi and auto •••••• ( I've checked there are lots of these!) bring it over ( many ways to do that, remember this is Miami, LOL) and park it next to mine and slowly swap everything! over, and it would be nicer than spending almost $9 grand in the conversion by the time I do all the work. especially since these 95's are NOW going for about $14K in the UK in a couple of years maybe $9K? plus $2K for get the paperwork and car over here! ahhh One Day, ... One Day....
