Will a D2 ladder fit on a D1?

The rear door was the only panel not changed in the upgrade from D1 to D2, it wouldn`t be a LR unless the powers that be cut a corner or two, and rooted around the rover group parts bin, after all D1`s are just that, a parts bin special. Makes searching in breaker yards much more fun, as you realise the design of the door handles are decades old, for example. Pete S.
