I wrote something like that in my Newbie FAQ a while ago (in the tech section). Slack in the bushings or torque at the mounts of the panhard rod does lead to shimmies (I bought my Discovery with this problem, quick fix to tighten up the nuts/bolts. That site you post certainly highlights the concern of not replacing the bolt which will only wear and further contribute to the slack... |
