Greg Can you put a Disco Web sticker and snap a photo on one of the bombs used? That would be very sweet. |

Greg, Nice Photo. I have no idea where it was actually taken, but from the mountains in the background, I suspect it was taken in Afghanistan. If you want to see some really interesting photos of off-roading in many places where Americans currently have to travel with more than off-road protection (Afghanistan, Pakistan,Iran, Iraq, Jordan & Yemen), check out "The Off-Road 4-Wheel Drive Book " by Jack Jackson. There is a lot of useful wheeling info in it as well. |

It was taken at a runway in Kandahar. I don't fly 'em. I fix 'em.

Maybe it's just me (after all, I'm not an Air Force pilot), but I was just wondering what would have happened if the pilot had needed to abort the takeoff. I would think that hiting a pothole (bomb hole?) in the runway would be considerably better than hitting a front loader and a truck. |

Todd...don't know about the non-clear runway. An aborted takeoff sure would suck! Phillip...It's a toss-up. Both are filthy pigs that usa a lot of fuel and leak fluid all over. |
