Hi Maneesh
There is a spacer you can get which has the two different stud patterns, not sure if this is a good idea, can`t remember where I saw them, possibly Simmonites in the UK.

Hi Ron
I have left a message with Simmonites, maybe they will call back. If not I will try to find out more for you.

The spacer will put the wheels out about 2 inches or more...most likely it will rub the fenders when turning or under any kind of articulation of the suspension.

www.rimmerbrothers.co.uk I forget and since my computer fried its MB, I don't have the URl to hand. In their catalog you'll see the adapter to fit d2 wheels on a d1

Hi Ron
Yeah as I guessed Simmonites sell the adaptors, I have spoken with Rachael Simmonite and thay cost £395 + VAT @ 17.5%, not sure what postage is like.
go to www.simmonites.co.uk for more info or speak to Rachael.
All the best

For shipments to the US no need to pay VAT and don't gorget to buy a second set of lug nuts to hold the adapter in place

Why would one want to put D2 wheels on a D1?
I believe the off road capabilities of the D1
may be decreased by such a conversion -
smaller lug nuts, lower profile tires?
