I have this clunk developing in the front end. Seems to be most noticable when I am either making left turns or going over small bumps with left tire or breaking hard. Feels like a worn bushing or something.

Any ideas on what to look at? I looked at it a few times over the last few days and couldn't find anything lose.

Thanks
Jim

Check for any play in your shocks inside their towers.

Get underneath while someone shakes the fuck out of the truck. You'll find it in a few seconds.

I had something similar, and it was ovalized shock bolts and destroyed shock towers.

Thanks to trusting some random suspension shop in Tucson, AZ to install my suspension. They used the wrong bushings.

I was initially inclined to just leave it, feeling that the damage had already been done, but then I was told that if the lower mounts are ruined too, I need to get new axles. Replacing the bushings and tightening everything up has helped so far, although I do have new towers and OME shocks sitting around to install as soon as I recover from my recent surgery...

Hey Danno what is the size for the panhard bolts. Just wondering. Also when you tighten will it corrupt the alignment?

Did you get new brakes? Either way spray anti squell stuff on them and that will keep your pads from moving around and making that sound.
