I don't think anyone was expecting a blizzard this morning! But hey, it'll make for some playing with the Disco!

In South Roanoke, I have never seen sooo many trees down in my life! Thank god none of 'em were in my yard (trees fall alot near my house). We all shoulda gone up & torn it up on Poor Mountain!

lol....

Here at the house, and around Kingsport, we had, maybe, an inch, disappeared by noon. Decided to drive up to the in-laws' place in Damascus VA for the afternoon.... they had 6" on the ground when we got there and they said that almost half of it had already melted away. Amazing....

We got almost 4 inches and it snowed for HOURS! Most is melting, although areas in the shade are still frozen. There were a lot of trees down here as well. SO WEIRD! I'm ready for spring.

Several of the nearby counties along the TN-NC line closed school today.... several places like Damascus, Wytheville, etc., reported a foot of snow.... I don't think anyone expected anything like that at all....
