Has anyone had any bad results with Mintex pads on a D2? I've read where they claim they are the first aftermarket pad to meet or exceed OEM specs. Also, do I really need to replace the hardware (clips, bolts, etc) when I change my pads or can I just reuse the originals?

Yer, anybody????? I too need to swap my DII's pads, LR dealer is asking $344.00 for parts alone while while discount-rovers has a much better price on Mintex.

Neil, I went ahead and ordered pads from Atlantic British. They strongly recommended Ferodo pads, as they stated Mintex pads on old rotors squeal like you know what. Plan to install this weekend, I'll post afterwards regarding how they work out.

I have the Mintex and yes they do squeal a little, but then again so do the original pads. I paid $107.00 for the whole set from Discount Rovers. My only complaint is that the Mintex are pretty dirty, IE lots of brake dust. Other than that they are fine.--Matt
