Has anyone had any bad results with Mintex pads on a D2? I've read where they claim they are the first aftermarket pad to meet or exceed OEM specs. Also, do I really need to replace the hardware (clips, bolts, etc) when I change my pads or can I just reuse the originals? |

Neil, I went ahead and ordered pads from Atlantic British. They strongly recommended Ferodo pads, as they stated Mintex pads on old rotors squeal like you know what. Plan to install this weekend, I'll post afterwards regarding how they work out. |

I have the Mintex and yes they do squeal a little, but then again so do the original pads. I paid $107.00 for the whole set from Discount Rovers. My only complaint is that the Mintex are pretty dirty, IE lots of brake dust. Other than that they are fine.--Matt |

i use axxis pads. i believe thats the name, but they are made by mintex pads in australia. they work fine. i have been using them a couple of years now on my 95 disco. i just use a good amount of anti squeal on the back of the pad during install. they are a bit dusty...but i run black steelies. cheers |
