It looks like I'll need to separate the upper A arm from the rear Boge SLU. Has anyone done this and if so what's the trick on reinstalling? I'd think the SLU will want to expand and becoame a biatch when it comes time to reattach it to the lower bj. Any ideas? Thanks. Ali '91RRC ps no, I don't want to leave it out! |

I just removed the y-frame and took it and the replacement Balljoint to the dealer. You need a REALLY BIG press to do this one. Either that or go to a machine shop, however most of them looked at the size of the balljoint and laughed. They didn't have the tools for that one. As far as the SLU goes, I just removed mine. Doesn't do much good on a lifted rig anyways. Plus you get the weight savings Larry |
