I added one to the side of the cargo area. Real easy job. I used a fuse tap from the lighter fuse then just ran the wire. |

i added one for my ipod on my DII...just bought a "replacement" unit at the auto parts store, bought a small plastic box from the container store (since i will be using it only for power and not for heat), and some double sided tape for the box. i wired it to the fuse box so it will be switched and mounted it down low near the seat. |

Which replacement unit did you guys get. I was in Pep Boys and the only ones they had were for American cars and didnt have listings for Rovers. Chris von C. |

since i was adding a new location and not replacing the original, i just bought what they had...i guess it was a usa version. so far, everything i have plugged in works. since i was supplying my own box it did not matter to me if it was LR style or not... also, i did not want to drill up my interior panels and using my own box both speeded up installation and made it easily relocatable, as i am never happy with any project "version 1" and i usually change things to suit what i want better... mike |
