Usually break the diff centre on RR classics first.

Once you upgrade that then you start doing axles.

Easy to fix just fit Maxidrive or Jacmac centres and axles all is well after.

Regards
Michael.

Steve,
I've broken a few. They are pretty fragile. They usually twist long before they break. At least the stock axles do.

93 LWB, Miami.
First time I broke the front Diff and right axle, where the center pin went THRU the axle housing, then backing out of the same Mud hole ( approximattely 24" deep, I broke the rear passenger axle, Removed the front diff and axles, and left the driveshaft off, then removed the rar diff and broken axle aswell as the stud of the axle still stuck in the diff, bought a used axle from GBR, installed it in the parking lot and was on 2wd till I got the truetrac and replacement axles for the front. At that time I upgraded the front to 24 spline D90 axles. then another day broke the passenger side axle on the rear, and decided to replace the rear with a truetrac and 24 spline d90 axles, been happy ever since...

Not sure Steve, I have heard some folks say that the D90's would not fit, But I've installed all four from a 24 spline D90 and all is very well.

PS, Wife just got a 2000 D2 SE7, SWEET!!!! I can't get near it, she says she'll let me put a rack on it and lights, but no just yet, LOL
