Around the time I reprogrammed my 1995 D1 alarm remote, my dual sunroofs stopped working in the open position - naturally. I checked the fuse box, and nothing wrong there. Any ideas? e |

Erik, I think first we should make sure you checked all the fuses or did you just check the one referenced "sun roof"? |

if they are still stuck open and you need to get them closed, you can use an allen key to turn the motor to manually wind them closed. sorry, can't really help you diagnosing problem. |

Rob, Thanks, I'd checked [additional] fuses 12 and 13 as stated in the manual - I'll go through the lot this morning. Cheers, e |

Rob, 10A Fuse, Satellite 1, Anti-theft alarm was blown - thanks again! I'll drive home dry today for the advice. Ring me if you're in the Bay Area and the pint's on me. Cheers, e |

Rob's point was, I think, that I should have checked all the fuses. I only solved the problem when I did so. The manual specifically refers to checking the following fuses when replacing any single component fuse: 12 - Multi-Function Unit 13 - Ignition Feed to MFU When I inspected Satellite 2, Fuse 5, Sunroof, I also checked those - without satisfying the problem. I don't really see the correlation between Satellite 1, Fuse 5, Anti-theft and Satellite 2, Fuse 5, Sunroof, but the electrics on this vehicle have always kept me guessing! Cheers, e

I had that problem with ours. The rear sunroof wouldn't close and it was starting to rain!! So I jumped up on the rear bumper and carefully pushed it close while my Dad pushed the button and it closed right up. Max T. |

Erik, Because both sun roofs were not working it sounded like a fuse. In the past I have had problems where I was checking the fuse for the seats and the windows because they were not working when in actuality it was the "cigar lighter" fuse that was blown. That is what made me think of it. If I ever get to the Bay area I will take you up on that pint. I'd love to take the Disco coast to coast but I think the only member of my family who would go would be the dog. |

I am worried that the sunroofs are not that sturdy... Everytime I have them open, and go over a bump, the whole thing sounds like it's going to fall off. Should I be concerned? Take care, Alex |
