I'd say our "self interests" are quite different from theirs.... The link does not seem to be working any more, wish I could have seen it. |

Chirac apologises for desecration President Jacques Chirac apologised to the Queen for the desecration of a British war cemetery on the Channel coast. He said saying the French had not forgotten the debt they owe British soldiers who died liberating their country. In a letter to the Queen, Chirac described the scrawling of anti-war graffiti on monuments at a First World War cemetery in Etaples, near Calais, as "inadmissible and shameful." He's full of shit, probably was out there w/ the spray can himself... Page3 girls almost prevented me from finding what I was looking for... |

Sonofabitch! The audacity of the French continues to amaze me. Latest reports say the French want a leading role and power to call the shots in the yet to be formed Iraqi government along with the UN. Are they all drunk since we're not buying their wine?

A couple of weeks ago, I saw Winston Churchill (the grandson of the one you are thinking of...) was on CNN and summed it up best. He said that he guessed the French attitude toward America in general was because they never forgave us for liberating them from the Germans. Like it was a slap in the face and they were living large under Hitler. It was really funny. I swear. |

The sad thing about most anti war protesters and grave desecrators is that if their country was invaded, they would expect those that stand up for their beliefs to fight on their behalf while they hide under the house. |

Roland.....couldn't have said it better!!!! It sure is fun to wear funky-granny sunglasses, tie-dy clothing and talk about "giving peace a chance" while throwing daisies and dropping acid....but in the end these spineless cowards are just full of rhetoric and bullshit! These protesters (if taken back in time) would have been in the streets in 1941 telling us not to get involved in the war. I'd love to see them contract some nasty-ass lethal disease....and then we can tell them NOT to take anti-biotics and instead negotiate with the bacteria and try to live with it and give peace a chance. I best not continue. |
