Has anyone removed there headliner? I have a 97 D1 SE no rear air. How difficult or easy a job is this? I'm having an electrical problem I believe is coming from the wiring to the sunroofs. I'm not entirely sure the sunroofs are factory as I'm the second owner. They say webasto on the glass. Does anyone have this kind or know if they are factory stantard brand? The wiring out of the fuse box definetley doesn't look original. The wires running up there are tapped into a differnet fuse than the workshop manual tells me the sunroof fuse is. I also can't locate the sunroof control unit it doesn't appear to be there at all nor any factory type plugs wires hanging around the access panels. The switches controling the front and rear are separate and are just single switches no 3 button control in the front. They look like the rear door window switches. Anyone else seen anything like this? The problem is whenever I use the sunroof switch my headlights will dimm or the radio cuts out or sometimes when I go to start the truck it won't until I push the sunroof button. Any help would be appreciated.

John-
Can't help you with the wiring, I can say that the headliner removal-by the accounts of the previous owner-isn't that hard (he basically tore it down after it started drooping).

I can also say that lack of a headliner makes wiring easier, and adds a certain rugged/ghetto look to the vehicle. I think my point of view is tainted by too many years in USMC hummers, but I don't mind it and more importantly neither does my wife.

Too bad about the sunroofs, I don't even have mine connected anymore-too much noise with a roof rack on anyway.
