This morning my 94 Disco drove fine...then when I tried to put it in park, it made a constant loud and high pitched grinding noise. The noise was only present when it was in park or neutral, shifting between the forward and reverse gears was uneventful. My husband can't pin point the noise as coming from the transmission, but it was coming from the front of the vehicle. We tried shutting off the truck, and restarting it, and the noise was no longer present. Now we're afraid to get stuck if we drive it. Any ideas?? Thanks! |
