I was driving around town (King of prussia) recently and came up on a car with a sticker on his bumper saying "SUV=SOB".

I have been seeing this more and more lately. I figure that I might want to keep more of an eye out for that sort of thing as these people might hate SUVs just a little too much and try something stupid. Hell, I must have really pissed him off with the big knobbys on. The look he gave me was of utter disgust.

I was thinking of making a sticker that says something like: "This SUV is an LEV so bugger off!"

And then in fine print at the bottem: "If you don't know what an LEV is, take that damn sticker off your car!"

Cheers,

Kennith

I agree on you opinion Kennith. Land ROvers owners here in France were ashamed to read obout this movement in US against SUV's.

Good luck.

Yeah,

It's getting pretty bad over here, and LRs with mods and stickers and all stick out like sore thumbs.

We have the same problem here, but we have to fight against too agressive "so called" ecologists. So lots of tracks are closed now...

Well, I've been to France, and had no problem. The people seemed fine, but then I wasn't there long enough to meet any officials.

All governments are going to be arrogant, it's simply a matter of their current agenda, as to wheather we see them as arrogant, or standing up for what they believe in.

Other nations see The US Government as arrogant, while we see our government as standing up for what is right. This is not a acenario solely related to current events, it will always be this way.

Now, do I agree with Frances position here, or yours? No I do not, but that's what makes for great conversation isn't it?

Cheers,

Kennith

Yeah,

L.E.V.= Low Emissions Vehicle. Thats why I get sick when these enviro-nazis hate me for my SUV. I respect the enviroment too, and I do not approve of a lot of peoples' vehicle purchasing decision. This, however does not discount that we live in a near free-market society, where manufacturers are encouraged to tailor their product lines to consumers' wants, not their needs. Right now, people WANT an SUV, and I use one. 5 years from now, people will Want something else, and I will still use an SUV.

Cheers,

Kennith

Kennith,

I loved your thing about arrogance.

And i do agree that beeing different should allow us to discuss about those difference, and enrich each other (that should be the opposite definition for arrogance, no ?).

Bye for now, and have a good week-end !

Man,

These people are ignorant. The writer makes nuclear reactors out to be these big pollution centers. They are not. I worked at one for a while. They produce a little bit of waste every two years. All that stuff comeing from the towers is steam. BTW, all the reactors I have ever been to are actually wildlife sanctuaries, and the animals love them. They water they release back into the enviornment is astronomically cleaner than the water they take in.

Kennith

I ran your grandma off the road with my SUV

Ron

Nothing like cruising around KOP with a bull bar equipped rover. Have you ever seen such an absurd way to route traffic! 202, 422, and 76 they must have changed it 10 times in the last year!

Hey Ron,

How many times do you look at those wide ditches thinking, " I could bypass all of this traffic by cutting through that construction site"

Gulph Mills road is a prick around 6pm.

Well when I see one of those stickers stuck in the ditch tonight, I'll be sure to remind them of the pollution toll it would require just to pull them free:-)

My D1 smogs at lower values than my wife's 02 Honda Civic EX "ULEV". Consumes twice as much gas to get 225 miles though!

I'd still rather be in the Disco in a wreck.

Yeah Kyle,

I thought about that too. It'd be funny if a bunch of us started putting those on. It would look like a joke rather than an anti-suv thing.

Cheers,

Kennith
