Ok, so this morning, yesterday she ran fine, this morning I go out to the truck and turn the key like usual, and all that happens is a grinding chugging noise. I open the hood, and the fan seems to be turning VERY slowly, and the engine bay is smelling like bacon or ham. THe battery seems to have plenty of juice to it, though I have not administered a test more than turning the lights on and off and seeing if they were bright as usual. What IS this new problem? I've never had this on any other car I've owned, or heard a noise quite like it on one either. Disco included. She won't start though, so thats the majro thing.

Are you sure the bacon and ham smell isn't left over from reheating your hamburger on the engine last night? Seriously though, put the disco in neutral and try turning the fan belt. If it is hard to turn, it could be the bearings in the power steering pump have seized up. This would explain the strange noises, slow turning fan and the "food" smells.
