HI
AM JUST ABOUT TO FIT DUAL BATTERIES, BUT HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY A FRIEND THAT IT WILL OVERLOAD MY STANDARD ALTERNATOR, I THOUGHT THE ALTERNATOR HAD A STANDARD OUTPUT REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF BATTERIES FITTED. ANYONE HAVE ANY THOUGHTS?

Your friend must be confused, your stock alternator is fine, it can charge at 100 amps i think, and it will charge your batteries, just as well as a trickle charger which may be charging at 1/2 an amp, it's all a time thing! you will need an isolator though!
