I would like to get my hands on a DF90 Diesel with a softtop but am having trouble locating one. Does anyone out there have any idea if any companies are bringing them over? Or, if I found one over there what I would need to do to put it on the road here. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

You can't import vehicles that are not 25 years old because of the emissions laws in the US. You would be hard pressed as an individual to bring a diesel 90 or 110 into the states. I know of dealerships that do it with TD5's, I know I know, it didn't seem plausable to me either when my boss told me we were doing it but two months later and I was driving down the road in a TD5. So the answer is it can be done, but it is probably more trouble then it is worht.

LR doesn't make (& AFAIK, never made) a 90 softtop Tdi. the only way to have one is to buy a petrol ST and throw a Tdi in it.
