Last weekend I was decesending a small sandy hill that I used as a parking lot on a amusement park, and as I hit the brake the three lights came on, and now they won't go away. any tricks to trouble shoot this?

Thanks

Jorge, if it's still on after a few restarts, you'll need the Testbook (available at the dealer) to reset the lights. Sounds like an ABS sensor went bad. Under warranty?

Greg,

I am not under warranty anymore. I talked to the dealership yesterday and they explained that they woould have to test all sensor and determine which one is bad. is this the only way to do it? how expensive? my problem is that I am 4 hours away from a dealership!!

On a different item, I have noticed that my tires are showing a very uneven outer edge on the thread, if it makes sense! a guy told me that this is due to back shocks/springs! is this true? the tires are noiser than normal, and you can see how uneven it is when I drive on sand and it sticks in the tires..youi have an on-off pattern of marks. any thoughts?

Jorge,

Sounds like a tire rotation issue or a bent or out of adjustment track rod. Check toe in tow out and rotate your tires and see if that hlps.

There are shops out there with the Auto Logic tester that can check it out. Atlantic British sells them. They can find out if there is one in your area. Call or "E" mail them

I have the same problem. I took it to the dealer and they replaced an ABS wheel speed sensor. The problem went away for about 5 miles, then came back. I have a friend who also has this problem with the lights, although it is intermittent. I'm beginning to suspect the computer is sending a false signal. I hope someone out there has had the same experience and can shed some light on it.
