I would LOVE to find a gas powered RC Disco because I'd like to get into RC and starting this way would
be cool. If anyone knows if there exists such a beast, I'd be very interested.

Also, I see a lot of die cast models on Ebay. Is there a source for these somewhere? I'd like to get one
in 'White Gold' but they are mostly green on Ebay.

Thanks for any help,
Santo

I have been looking for a Disco body as well to fit my one of my RC trucks and have not found one at all. I've been looking for a clear lexan Disco or Defender body and I can't find one.. If I do I'll let you know.. I've been looking on and off know for two months.. Nothing..

I read about a Dutch company that is making a rather expensive rc discovery here is where I found the info http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~lloyd/4/LandRover/Toys/#Robbe

I looked into this by e-mailing Robbe directly. Gordon Upton replied to let me know the 1/10 scale Discovery was discontinued about 5 years ago. Good luck finding a used one. I've looked everywhere else I can think of and found no Discovery R/C trucks. Too bad.

In my quest, I found this little nugget but it's too expensive to ship just one. I wonder if anyone sells these over here?

Is it possible to mold your own body if you have a 1:10 scale model to work from? I know I'm reaching here :)

Have a look at:

The search continues...
