Earlier this winter check engine light came on and I took the truck to a local, non rover dealer and he said it threw out P1193. He reset the light and it stayed off for about three weeks and then came back on again. I am now, some time later taking the truck to the dealer next week to see if they can give me a fix. My two questions are: 1. The code definition is P1193- Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Open Downstream, what exactlt does this mean? 2.What are the chances that the code it threw the first time is the code it is throwing out after it was reset? thanks for your time, matt |
