Hey all, Im in the Salt Lake area and not that I am not pretty pleased with the service that the dealer performs but the prices are outrageous. Anyone know of a good shop in the area that is reasonably priced?? THanks!!!

What don't you like about the service at the dealer? Which dealer did you go to?

Bill at Great Basin will likely reccomend Clarke at Regent Street. I think he is at about 1350 S. State Street. I would love to use GBR, but I think they are mainly a distributor and not into the actual labor. Just look up Regent in the phone book and Clarke will take care of you.

Cool beans!! Thanks for the info I will look it up. I did know about Great Basin but as you said, they are more distrib. based. Anyway I have been going to LR american fork and as I said the service is great its just the prices. For a waterpump, installed was in the $450 range not including tax...Frustrating when I can find a genuine LR pump for $160 and the dealer wants $220. y'know...thanks again!!!

I agree with Regent Street. My d1 is there now, Clark is a good guy, he works hard to get your truck to run right and the prices are good and the service is top notch. He knows and has access to the those aftermarket parts that can save you money and fits just the same as a stock LR part.

Just to update, got the truck back from Regent Street yesterday, Clark did a waterpump and tensioner bearing. total damage, $354, what it would have cost at the dealer, over $700. savings=about $350...enough to put sliders on :D kudos to Clark and Regent!! Thanks for the help D-Web
