I'm kinda leary of Land Rover products for sale when I see a picture of a Camaro and S-10 though....

Just two wires? Anyone familiar with these...does it just postpone the shifting to a higher RPM? (I must quit searching "Land Rover" on ebay motors at 2am.)

I could be wrong, but I think I've seen this crap before actually explaining what's going on.

Basically, you are locking up your torque converter with this kit. Usually, your torque converter locks up automatically at a set speed (45 or 50 or ???) reducing power loss through the torque converter.

I really don't think this is a wise thing to do without modifying your valve body to increase the line pressure and/or internally modifying your transmission to make it stronger. Yes it should provide at least some of what it claims, but transmission longevity is not one of them.

I'd be leary of this; again, as I mentioned, I remember seeing this where they actually informed the bidder they were purchasing a kit to manually lock up the torque converter. Because they leave this out, I assume 1) you can do this WAY cheaper than buying it through these guys, and 2) this actually isn't good for the transmission and nobody would bid if they actually knew what they were getting.

Caveat emptor.
