I've loosend all 6 bolts on my ram housing about 20 min ago, but the thing still ain't budging, anyone know any tricks to get this thing to come off? Thanks, JC |

JC: Somewhere I have a procedure for removing the upper plenum without damaging it or the mating surfaces-just can't find it now. I believe the procedure is to put a few of the bolts into the plenum, but not thread them in. Using these bolts, gently apply force to the bolts to break the seal. The top half of the plenum (and lower half for that matter) is only held on by gasket sealant and habit. Once you bust it loose, it should come right off. I just had to disassemble the lower half on Thursday and had the same issue arise! Paul |
