I recently bought a cd changer for discovery but I can find where to hook up the changer under the seat. Any help would be appreciated because there seems to be a lot of wires under the seat. |

Not sure if you have a D1 or D2, but here are the directions for a D2 on Expedition Exchange: http://expeditionexchange.com/cdchangerinstall/ Good luck, -ema |

Jeb, Go to 2002 archives for Technical Discovery. There are a dozen or so threads on this subject that should help you out. Paul '00 Pig |

A CD changer in the D1 is very easy to install. I did it myself on my 97. Just unscrew the plastic seat "bottoms" that cover the electric seat movement actuators... You will be able to work better with them out. Behind and under the passenger seat you will 2 cables. They might be tucked under the carpet. These control the changer. Just bolt the changer down and plug in the 2 cables into the rover changer. Im not sure if other cd changer brands will fit with these plugs. You prolly would need to get an adapter. Very simple job. |
