I know this has probably been talked about, but here goes anyway. Is there anything I can do, besides turning up the radio, that will lessen the noise comming from my sunroofs on my 98 Disco?? |

In our 95, the rattle was a sign that we needed the upgraded sunroof rail assembly; rattle pretty much went away. I suspect 98s would have the new rails already, but you could check on it. |

My front one started rattling when open. They replaced the track in it. |

Our 95 opens: tilts to vent, and then slides back. |

My rear was rattling like crazy and was just dealing with it until I got some serious leaks from the back. So when I took the headliner down, I notice that the roof had actually seperated from the crossmember and it wasn't the sunroof rattling it was the roof bouncing up and down on the crossmember. I guess over time with the sunroof's momentum back there bouncing around, the seal that stuck the roof and crossmember together finaly gave way. So I order a tube of Sikaflex 227, sealed it up and now there is no way in hell that is going to happen again. |
